Le retour de la vache folle (et du refoulé de nos assiettes)

On croyait nos assiettes nettoyées de toute trace suspecte…un peu grâce à l’Europe, gardien vigilant faisant régner l’ordre des étiquettes grâce à la traçabilité ! C’était sans compter sur  la cupidité de traders capables de transformer de la viande de cheval en bœuf, et un commerce illégal en poule aux œufs d’or. Pour tordre le cou aux clichés, la faute ne venait pas de la très laxiste Roumanie, mais d’un néerlandais peu scrupuleux ! Le scandale de la viande de cheval faussement estampillée boeuf fait tache d’huile à travers tout le Vieux continent. Après la découverte de cette affaire au Royaume-Uni et en Irlande, des lots suspects ont été confirmés en Norvège et en Autriche. Il court, il court le bœuf chevalin… Coïncidence ironique voire fâcheuse: les farines animales, qui ont rendu nos vaches folles font leur retour chez les poissons. Approuvé en juillet 2012 par les experts des États membres de l'UE, le retour des farines de porc et de volailles pour nourrir les poissons d'élevage sera autorisé à compter du 1er juin. Une annonce de la Commission européenne qui tombe en plein regain d’inquiétude : consommateurs atterrés d’Europe, unissez-vous ?
